This unique exhibition, "Flora and Fauna," is a heartfelt tribute to the late artist Marie Gibbons, who left an indelible mark on the local art community. Marie's creative spirit, sense of humor, and innovative ideas have inspired a whole group of talented local ceramic artists, most of them women. They come together annually to celebrate her memory through their work.

Marie Gibbons, who once kept a studio and taught clay classes at 44th Avenue and Tennyson Street, later moved her artistic endeavors west to Wheat Ridge. Throughout her artistic journey, she continued to craft one-of-a-kind sculptures and wall pieces while sharing her wisdom and friendship with fellow artists.
